GPS

Emily and I had a Garmin Nuvi 775 GPS unit that was awesome for a little over a year. On the way to the Frankfurt airport it suddenly ceased to function. We managed to find the airport as well as navigate all around Slidell and New Orleans without it - but with a healthy appreciation for the ease of traveling with it. We bought a new while back in the states, but it didn't have a map of Europe - so we bought one online from Garmin. Took 6 tries to download (about 9 hours)! All user error - together Emily and I each managed to do one of the following: navigate away from the page when it was at 88%, let the computer die when it was at around 90% (not plugged in), letting the computer go to sleep, and many others. Finally finished and will now try to figure out how to use it :)
