This is a wonderful museum! I spent most of today here - walking on the creaky wooden floors of the Hotel Biron, strolling through the spectacular gardens and also napping in the full length wooden chairs by the fountain. There are over 6,000+ sculptures, 8,000+ drawings housed in the Biron. The gardens contain life size castings of many Rodin sculptures including: 'The Gates of Hell', 'Balzac', 'The Thinker', 'The Fallen Caryatid with Urn' and sculptures from 'The Burghers of Calais'. My two all time favourites have to be: 'She Who Was Once The Helmet-Maker's Beautiful Wife' and the 'Danaid'. I could spend weeks looking at it all!
